The Space

Cedar & Stone Retreat is thoughtfully designed for families and groups to gather comfortably, with spaces that make meals, play, and downtime feel easy. Upon entering, you’ll find shoe storage and a coat rack, helping everyone settle in quickly. 

The heart of the home is the large, fully stocked kitchen, perfect for family meals and group gatherings. A high chair is provided for little ones, and large windows bring in natural light and views of the surrounding landscape. The kitchen island seats five, with a nearby coffee bar and extra seating/desk space for morning coffee, homework, or planning the day.

The kitchen opens into the dining room, where a table seating eight sits beside large windows and a door leading to the deck—great for indoor-outdoor meals and fresh air. Just beyond is the main living and game area with a 50” Roku TV, offering a cozy place for movie nights and family time. 

An additional lower-level living space provides extra room for kids and teens to relax, featuring a bar area and a 70” TV with surround sound. 

This area also offers flexible sleeping options for larger groups. The sectional folds out into a full bed, and the oversized chair converts into a twin bed, providing additional space for guests when needed. 

This level also includes the Twin Springs Room (four twin bedroom), creating a comfortable and fun space where younger guests can unwind while adults enjoy the main living areas upstairs.

Bedrooms 

🍃 Prairie Ridge Suite

The primary king bedroom offers a comfortable retreat with a private en-suite bathroom and large walk-in closet—ideal for parents or grandparents. Includes a luggage rack for added convenience. Enjoy a 50” Roku TV for streaming your favorite shows, plus a large window overlooking the front yard and Driftless landscape. A sound machine is provided to help create a restful, uninterrupted night’s sleep.

🌲 Bluff View Room

This main-floor bedroom features a California king bed and is conveniently located just down the hall from the guest bathroom, making it a great option for adults or children. Attached are two closets for storage, luggage rack is included, along with a 50” Roku TV for easy streaming and unwinding at the end of the day. A sound machine is provided to help create a restful, uninterrupted night’s sleep. 

🌿 Spring Hollow Room

Located on the main floor just down the hall from the guest bathroom, the queen bedroom offers a comfortable and calming space with closet storage and luggage racks to make settling in easy. Enjoy a 40” Roku TV for streaming, plus a sound machine to help ensure a restful night’s sleep.

🌊 Twin Springs Room

This spacious basement bedroom is a favorite for kids and teens, featuring two twin beds plus a daybed with a pull-out trundle for flexible sleeping arrangements. The room includes a 50” Roku TV and a sound machine, making it ideal for movie nights or winding down after a full day. A large window overlooks the front yard, bringing in natural light, and luggage racks are provided to make unpacking easy. A large collection of toys and kids’ books is provided, making this a fun and comfortable space for younger guests.

All bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels, blow dryers, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for a comfortable, worry-free stay.

Outdoor Spaces

Cedar & Stone Retreat offers peaceful outdoor spaces designed for relaxing and spending time together. Taking ten stairs up from the driveway is the back patio, which also leads to the back door of the home. Here you'll find a patio table and chairs, creating an inviting spot for outdoor meals in a quiet setting. 

A deck off the house overlooks Twin Springs Road and the surrounding pasture, offering open views, fresh air, and frequent deer sightings—perfect for morning coffee or unwinding at the end of the day.

The property also features ample parking, including a large circular driveway, making arrival and departure easy for families and groups.
